Capt. Thomas L Fitzsimons. 3rd Scouting Force, ex 382nd Bomb Group. Capt. Fitzsimons was killed in action on 20th April 1945 when his tail section was severed from the fuselage by flak near Utrecht. At a height of only 200 ft he was unable to bail out and was killed in the crash. Capt. Fitzsimons lies in Maargraten American Cemetery, The Netherlands.
