Robert T. Hall Crew, 838th Bomb Squadron, 487th Bomb Group



This photo of the Robert T. Hall crew was taken on 24 March 1944 at Herington Army Airfield, Kansas, a staging base for heavy bombers. Herington was the 487th Bomb Group’s first stop during its deployment from Alamogordo, New Mexico, to Lavenham, England. The aircraft in this photo is probably B-24 42-52771.
