Lt. H V Wingfield. 84th Fighter Squadron. Lt. Wingfield, seen here in the front row beneath the left prop blade, hands clasped between legs, managed to fly four operational missions before war’s end and was subsequently transferred to the 55th FG for occupation duty. See 55th FG gallery.
