2Lt. Robert N Jensen. Racine Wi. 338th Fighter Squadron. P-38H 42-66724 CL-# "Miss Margaret" Lt. Jensen was downed on 13 November 1943 whilst flying his 12th mission - a ramrod to Bremen. He suffered burns to his face and neck as well as shrapnel wounds to his left leg and arm before bailing out. He spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft 1, Barth, Germany until released by the Russians.
