Lt. Wesley G Fish, Oakland CA, 505th Fighter Squadron. P-51B 42-106920 6N-C/ "Butch". Photo shows landing accident on 14 July 1944 with Lt. Bernell V Shaw, Brookfield Centre CT, at the controls. Shaw had only been with the squadron since 11 July and unfortunately ended up as a POW on 24 August in 44-13385. Butch was previously assigned to Lt. William A Jones prior to him moving to 6N-E.
